Wheelchair Basketball

Fundación Jen Lee is sponsoring the purchase of sport wheelchairs for the Ibarra basketball team Ruedas sin Fronteras (Wheels Without Borders).  With these certified sports wheelchairs from DDO Canada, Ruedas Sin Fronteras will finally be able to complete on a national an international level.    https://app/public.youtube.com/watch?v=KuERjc3N75w Major donors are Live Boundless of the USA, Crecer of Ecuador, and the Rotary District 7670 in North Carolina.     To support the team and showcase the new chairs, an event will be held at the Coliseo in Ibarra on November 29, 2019, including the Andes and the Piratas basketball teams.  The municipality of Ibarra is supporting the event as well as several other local organizations.  All proceeds with benefit disabled sports in Ibarra.  A special visitor and speaker at the event will be Madeline Delp, Miss Wheelchair USA 2018 and president of Live Boundless Foundation.
